In this role as Manager, Quality Assurance, you’ll be the driving force behind the productivity and quality of our QA teams. Your leadership will ensure that our quality standards are met while fostering a shift towards a Quality Engineering mindset. You’ll collaborate with Engineering and Product leaders to align initiatives with our roadmap, continuously seeking process improvements and innovative solutions.

Set and Monitor Success Metrics: Collaborate with the Senior Product Manager to define goals and success metrics for product releases, continuously monitoring performance and adjusting strategies to meet or exceed targets.

Contribute to Product Roadmap: Assist in defining and maintaining the product roadmap for Bloomerang’s Volunteer Management application, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.

Create Detailed Documentation: Develop functional requirements, product briefs, user stories, and other essential documentation to guide product enhancements and ensure clarity across teams.

Act as Product Owner in Scrum: Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies, leading as the Product Owner to drive the successful delivery of features across Sprints and releases in collaboration with Engineering.

Develop Product Expertise: Gain deep knowledge of the product, becoming a key resource for your team and ensuring that a thorough understanding of customer needs and product capabilities informs decisions.

Ensure Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing improvement of product management processes, your team’s effectiveness, and your personal development as a product leader.

Deliver Features On-Time: Work closely with teams to ensure that features are delivered on schedule, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes and meeting defined success metrics.

Create Communication Artifacts: Produce presentations, documentation, training materials, and other artifacts that clearly communicate product features, benefits, and changes to internal and external stakeholders.

Engage with Stakeholders: Regularly communicate with customers, users, and stakeholders to gather insights, prioritize features, and ensure the product development aligns with user expectations and business objectives.

  • Experience in SaaS Product Management: At least 3+ years of experience in managing SaaS products, with a strong understanding of product development and lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in Agile Methodologies: 3+ years of hands-on experience with agile practices, particularly in Scrum or Kanban, with the ability to act as a Product Owner.
  • Strong Technical Acumen: Ability to engage in technical discussions with Engineering teams, with a solid understanding of software development processes.
  • Excellent Documentation Skills: Proven experience in creating detailed requirements documents, product briefs, user stories, and other essential Product Management documentation.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and make data-driven decisions that enhance product development.
  • Outstanding Communication Skills: Comfortable presenting ideas and product updates to diverse audiences, including internal teams, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate those needs into actionable product features and improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement Focus: Commitment to personal and professional growth, with a proactive approach to enhancing team processes and product outcomes.
