Reddit is seeking a Lead for Advertising Measurement within the EMEA region to drive success for our advertising partners. This full-time, remote position is part of the Marketing Sciences team and reports to the Head of Measurement, EMEA. The role is vital to demonstrating Reddit’s value as a media platform by leveraging measurement expertise to influence advertising strategies and outcomes.

As the Ads Measurement Lead, you’ll collaborate across various functions, including Sales, Marketing, and Brand Strategy, to develop and communicate impactful measurement results. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of tasks from managing vendor relationships to supporting go-to-market teams with data-driven insights. You will also contribute to primary research and the development of insights products that showcase Reddit’s capabilities to advertisers.

Candidates should have 1-3+ years of experience in ad research or ad tech, with at least one year in digital advertising. Familiarity with the ad measurement landscape and a strong background in quantitative advertising research are essential. You should also be adept at working with measurement vendors, integrating research data into strategic narratives, and effectively communicating complex insights.

  • Advertising Measurement: Lead and execute advertising measurement initiatives, including attitudinal survey research, offline and online sales/ROI measurement, impression/attribution/conversion tracking, and insights storytelling using both 1st and 3rd party data.
  • Vendor Development: Collaborate with measurement vendors to understand their methodologies, develop mutual roadmaps, and expand Reddit’s measurement capabilities. Ensure vendor strategies align with Reddit’s goals and enhance our measurement suite.
  • Sales Impact: Utilize measurement results to drive sales performance by developing benchmarks, case studies, and best practices. Refine and optimize audience and targeting strategies to improve campaign efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Brand Strategy teams to create compelling storylines that highlight Reddit’s advertising opportunities and competitive advantages. Develop insights that support Reddit’s value proposition to advertisers.
  • Go-to-Market Support: Provide measurement expertise and industry knowledge to support the go-to-market teams. Help them leverage research findings to inform strategy and drive action.
  • Research and Insights Development: Lead innovative primary research projects that strengthen Reddit’s narrative to advertisers. Develop insights products that position Reddit as a key source of business-critical learnings for advertisers.
  • Data Integration: Synthesize primary research, 1st party data, and 3rd party research into cohesive, strategic insights that resonate with stakeholders and support Reddit’s business objectives.
  • Communication: Deliver clear, articulate, and engaging presentations and reports that convey complex measurement results and insights to various audiences within and outside of Reddit.
  • Experience: 1-3+ years of experience in ad research or ad tech, with at least one year in digital advertising. Experience may include working at a research vendor, media owner, client, or agency partner.
  • Ad Measurement Expertise: Deep understanding of the ad measurement landscape, including key vendors, products, and services used by advertisers to measure performance. Technical familiarity with how these tools and methodologies work.
  • Research and Analysis Skills: Strong background in the execution, analysis, and presentation of quantitative advertising research, with proven ability to integrate primary research, 1st party platform data, and 3rd party research into strategic insights.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with experimentation and statistical methods underlying ad measurement. Expertise in key measurement areas such as Reach (impressions, viewability, brand safety), Resonance (brand awareness, consideration), and Reaction (attribution, conversion, sales lift).
  • Vendor Management: Experience working with measurement vendors to develop new services and capabilities, ideally within a technology company setting.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex measurement insights and strategies to diverse audiences.
  • Data-Driven Storytelling: Ability to craft compelling narratives from data that inspire and drive strategic action for advertisers.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Strong ability to work cross-functionally, partnering with teams such as Sales, Marketing, and Brand Strategy to align measurement initiatives with business objectives.
  • Passion for Measurement: Enthusiasm for advertising measurement and a desire to continually learn and innovate within the field.
